“Vanda Culture” with Serena Roman
Our September meeting will be a recorded AOS Webinar on growing Vanda orchids that was originally presented on March 18, 2026.
We will join Serena Roman of Lady Vanda Orchids and learn about how to get your vandas to bloom to their potential. Serena teaches practical, evidence‑based care to demystify orchids for new and experienced hobbyists, emphasizing accessible techniques that build confidence and success. With years of hands‑on cultivation experience, she curates and propagates a broad range of orchids, including vandas.

At the September meeting, you can nominate other society members or volunteer yourself to become President, Vice President (includes Program Chair), Secretary or Treasurer starting January 1, 2027. Training will be provided.

Location Reminder
We meet at Maravilla on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, except March and August.
Directions: From Calle Real, enter Maravilla and bear left. On the right is a lawn with a flagpole. The meeting rooms are to the left of the lawn with a flagpole. To park, continue to drive around a loop that will lead you to the parking lot. Additional parking is available to the right as you drive in, any parking space without a number is available. Meeting Rooms: AOS Judging in the Galleria Room, Orchid Society in the Valencia Room.
